Through the College Transition program, Indigenous learners will build essential skills, investigate potential employment paths and learn more about RRC Polytech’s career-focused opportunities.
In this preparatory program, you’ll focus on strengthening your cultural understanding and developing your personal and career potential. You’ll meet one-on-one with mentors and use a holistic approach and diverse learning strategies to build critical reading, writing, math, science and technical skills. You’ll also develop practical, employer-sought work skills, earn certifications and explore work and volunteer opportunities.

In this program, you’ll build your own sense of Indigeneity and strengthen your personal potential through culturally focused programming. You’ll also build academic skills in areas such as math, science and communication while earning industry-relevant certifications.
TERM 1
