Digital Film and Media Production is a post-graduate diploma program that prepares you for a career in film and media production. You’ll learn industry-standard techniques and get practical experience working with state-of-the-art equipment in a studio and on location.

This program is designed for graduates of post-secondary media programs and industry professionals who wish to elevate their skills as producers, videographers and editors. It connects post-secondary students to the local film industry and gives you the knowledge to run your own business as a producer and freelance entrepreneur.

Full-time Delivery: Something New Every Term

In this program, you’ll learn to produce videos, live productions, social media content and motion graphics using professional equipment, including 4K video production equipment and video drones. You’ll also broaden your skill set and learn to manage a digital media business, work effectively as part of a professional film crew and access media production funding from various sources.

TERM 1

Learn to navigate the creative, technical and business aspects of digital media production in the film industry and as an independent business.

TERM 2

Learn to develop and sell ideas, manage crews and produce digital media in various formats as part of a film, corporate or marketing team and as a freelance entrepreneur.
