Communication Management

Prepare for a higher-level management role in organizational communications.

You have the communication expertise; now, add business acumen and leadership skills to help you see the bigger picture and play a greater role in your organization’s success.

The Communication Management program provides you with the skills and expertise to develop a deeper understanding of how and why business decisions are made, enabling you to offer more valuable counsel to employers and clients, and to become a greater asset to workplace teams and management.

Most program participants are early- to mid-career professionals already working in a variety of industries. Since communication management is a vital part of any significant organization, the skills and knowledge this program develops are applicable across corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, agencies, public sector organizations and governments, charities and non-profits.

The curriculum is designed specifically for graduates of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations programs and other professional communicators who have developed their skills on the job. Communication Management courses build on your strengths and develop your management readiness in four main areas: business knowledge, leadership skills, project management and advanced communication skills.

You can incorporate program assignments and experiences into your workplace or interests, immediately putting your education into practice. Not only does this quickly add value to your current role as you work through the program, but it also reinforces your learning through immediate real-life experience.
