Enhance workplace skills through ASPIRE Edge

August 11, 2020

Do you want to enhance your skills for the workplace, but haven’t yet taken the plunge? With one month of summer left, now might be the right time to get ahead!

The ASPIRE Edge is a three-tier online simulation that bridges the gap between post-secondary education and the workplace.

You can complete the program at your own pace. Here’s what you’ll learn:

Tier 1: NextGen Associate – develop communication, resiliency, and data acumen skills.

Tier 2: NextGen Team Member – take a deep dive into problem-solving and critical thinking, while building your teamwork skills.

Tier 3: NextGen Manager – work as a new manager trainee to strengthen your leadership skills, and learn how to engage your direct reports, manage a budget, and make difficult decisions.

To start your journey, simply visit aspirefs.ca/the-edge/

ASPIRE has been developed by Toronto Finance International in partnership with employers, post-secondary institutions and the government to positively impact the quantity and quality of student work-integrated learning opportunities in the Financial Services sector, and grow the in-demand, work-ready pool of early-stage talent.

ASPIRE is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program.
