Employment Workshops

Get Job Search Ready Series with SES & ASC

An interactive workshop series to help students develop employment documents and skills offered by Student Employment Services (SES) and Academic Success Centre (ASC). These sessions include the topics on job search and networking, LinkedIn profile development, resumes and cover letters.

Interview Preparation: Strategies for Success with SES

An interview is an essential element to securing a job and preparation is key. In this presentation, students will obtain tips on the best interview practices – what to do before, during and after an interview – including how to prepare for virtual interviews.

March 23, 2022 National Day of WIL CEWILCo-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL Canada) is the leading organization for work-integrated learning in Canada.  CEWIL partners with post-secondary institutions, community members, employers, government, and students to champion work-integrated learning (WIL).

Each year, on the 4th Wednesday of March, CEWIL is pleased to celebrate the National Day of WIL! This year the National Day of WIL will be on March 23rd, 2022.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
