Prepare yourself to meet the challenges of adapting to the global marketplace.
The need for expertise in international business is growing in Canada. Our International Business program prepares you to meet the challenges of adapting to the global marketplace.
The program includes a custom-designed foreign language component and work experience with an organization involved in global marketing.
Small classes are taught by a team of professionals who have real business experience. They offer innovative projects designed to apply international business theory through case study and discussion. You will be given opportunities to listen to guest speakers and to participate in relevant conferences, seminars and other events.
Student teams will work with a local enterprise to prepare a marketing plan for entry into a new foreign market. Your plan will be evaluated by a panel of judges.
In Term 3 (spring/summer term), you will be required to seek and complete a minimum six-week work experience component (assistance provided by RRC). This often evolves into an opportunity for summer employment for those students who have demonstrated high levels of professionalism.
