The Ambassador Role

The search is on for energetic RRC Polytech students who are interested in working as Student Ambassadors during Open Doors: RRC Polytech’s Open House taking place at the Notre Dame and Exchange District Campuses during the College’s Reading Week!

Student Ambassadors are responsible for taking small groups of future students on tour routes around our campuses. We’re inviting students in any year of their studies to apply today! Whether you’re confident with exploring our campuses or not, we’ll provide you with training in advance of the event to ensure you know where you’re going!

What does it take to be a Student Ambassador?

Here’s what we are looking for in Student Ambassadors:

  • Individuals who are outgoing, energetic, and comfortable conducting campus tours alone.
  • Interested students must be able to attend one of the following training sessions:
    • Notre Dame Campus ambassadors: February 9, 10 or 11 from 4-9pm
    • Exchange District Campus ambassadors: February 12 from 4-9pm
  • Must be available on February 18, 2026, between the hours of 8:30am-2pm and 4:45pm-9:00pm
  • Students have the option of receiving an honorarium of $250 (for participating in the training and in the full-day event) or a certificate of volunteer hours
