Connect to student email using Outlook app – Mac

The Outlook for Mac app allows you to securely access emails, calendars, and contacts on your mobile device.

  1. Click the Tools tab, and then click Accounts.

  2. On the Accounts window, click the Exchange or Office 365 icon.

  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Enter your College user name followed by @academic.rrc.ca.
    • In the Method field, select User Name and Password.
    • In the User name field, enter your student email address (College user name followed by @academic.rrc.ca).
    • In the Password field, enter your student email password.
    • Select the Configure automatically check box.
    • Click Add Account.

  4. To configure your account settings, click Allow, and your Outlook inbox will open.
    NOTE: You may receive a prompt to click Allow again. You can select the Always use my response for this server check box to set this as your default selection.

Add account

  1. Click the Tools tab, and then click Accounts.

  2. Click the + icon at the bottom left‑hand side of the Accounts window, and then select the email type from the drop‑down menu.

  3. Enter your email address and password, and then click Add Account.

Your new account will display under your default email account.

Delete account

  1. Click the Tools tab, and then click Accounts.

  2. On the Accounts window, select the account that you want to delete, and then click the  icon at the bottom left‑hand side of the window.

  3. Confirm that you want to delete this account, and then click Delete.
