Red River College offers different programs throughout the year that introduce young people to the exciting world of engineering technology. Through hands-on discovery of basic technology concepts, participants will learn about different career options, have some fun, and build their own take-home projects.
Girls Exploring Trades & Technologies Camp (GETT)
GETT Camp introduces girls 12-14 to a variety of possible career futures in a fun, hands-on summer day camp. Participants will explore non-traditional careers and learn how to use hand tools in the Carpentry shop. Under the guidance of industry pros and female mentors, each girl will work with a teammate to build, design and paint a plywood racer. For more information, please click here.
Technology Exploration Camp (TEC)
TEC@RRC is an innovative summer camp program that offers hands-on technology activities and demonstrations for girls and boys aged 11 - 13. Two five-day camps are being held in July, focusing on Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. For more information, please click here.
