RRC Polytech Career Services offers students and recent graduates assistance with job search strategies, cover letter and résumé writing, interview preparation, employment application forms, informational interviews and current labor market information. Career Services provides personalized support and direction to students and recent graduates seeking summer, part-time, full-time and temporary employment.

Registration is now open for the Get Job Search Ready Series workshops!

Career Services is providing an interactive workshop series on the development of employment documents and skills for students!

The Get Job Search Ready series will be a combination of presentations and workshops on the following topics:

  • Job Search Strategies and Networking
  • LinkedIn Profile Development
  • Resumes and Cover Letters
  • Interview Strategies and Practice Opportunities

These workshops are designed for students in business-related programs. All students are welcome to attend and adapt the information to their field.

The workshops will be delivered virtually during June and July, from 12pm – 1pm.

Job Fair and Networking Event presented by IIBA and PMI Manitoba

 

The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Manitoba Chapter and PMI Manitoba have partnered to present a Job Fair & Networking Event.

 

This event is a great opportunity to network with local Winnipeg business analysis and project management leaders and professionals.

 

Network with peers, learn about exciting projects and endeavours in the field of Business Analysis and Project Management and chat with leading hiring organizations in the community.

 

There will also be a chance to WIN great PRIZES!

 

When: June 1, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

MB Hydro’s Power Line Technician Program

 

Now accepting applications! Application deadline: June 13, 2023

 

This four-year fully paid apprenticeship program includes competency-based trade schools, formal classes, and on-the-job training. During your paid training, you will be rotated to different work locations. After you complete your training and successfully pass testing and evaluation, you will receive a Journeyperson Certificate.

 

To apply, you must first register and create an online profile through Manitoba Hydro’s external Careers website. All applications must include:

  • Resume
  • Cover letter
  • High school transcripts
  • Post-secondary school transcripts or training certificates.

Canada Revenue Agency Audit Career Fair 2023 (Virtual)

 

If you live in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba or Saskatchewan and you are a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), an aspiring CPA, or simply considering a career in Audit, we invite you to attend the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) virtual career fair!

 

This virtual career fair is a great opportunity to connect with experienced auditors and managers at the Canada Revenue Agency and learn about current job opportunities in the Audit division:

 

This event consists of two recurring info sessions offered over the course of two days to allow you to register for a timeslot that works best with your schedule. Each info session will require separate ticket registration.
