Employment Readiness Conference (ERC), May 25 & 26
RRC Polytech’s Student Employment Services (SES), in collaboration with the Centre for International Education and Global Partnerships (CIEGP), Academic Success Centre (ASC), and the School of Indigenous Education (SIE), is hosting the 3rd virtual Employment Readiness Conference (ERC)!
The theme of this year’s event is Back to YOUR Future – a focus on the possibilities ahead for RRC Polytech’s students and alumni after the challenges of the past few years. Partnering with us as this year’s keynote speaker is Lisa Taylor, a sought-after expert, speaker, and columnist on today’s changing world of work. As President of Challenge Factory and the Centre for Career Innovation, Lisa offers invaluable leadership and insights about the Future of Work—with a focus on how talent equity, demographics, the freelance economy, and new market dynamics present opportunities to gain strategic workforce and career advantage.
In addition, the ERC includes sessions by RRC Polytech staff and industry speakers on cultural themes, networking and communication, labour market trends, recruitment strategies, as well as an employer and alumni panel to share workplace expectations, challenges, and best practices.
