International Student Emergency Health Plan

RRC Polytech provides all international students with access to an affordable, comprehensive, and easy-to-use health plan. The International Emergency Health Insurance Plan is issued through Gallivan: Student Health and Wellness and is managed by the RRC Polytech Students’ Association. This plan offers benefits similar to Manitoba Health coverage.

College-issued health insurance coverage is mandatory while you are enrolled in your studies at RRC Polytech. Your insurance fees are part of your RRC Polytech fees and will be automatically charged to your student account.

Gallivan provides 12-month insurance policies to all international students and 4-month gap insurance policies for international students whose programs extend beyond the 12-month insurance coverage period (students will be notified if this additional coverage period applies to their programs).

Once you are enrolled, a representative from Gallivan will contact you with further information about your coverage.

You can find out more about your insurance plans by visiting the Student Health and Wellness Services webpage or by visiting the RRCSA Student Benefits Plan Office.

If You’re Coming to Study in Canada With Family Members

This insurance plan does not cover your eligible dependent family members. Should you require additional coverage for your family, you will need to make your own arrangements.

You can contact Gallivan for further information.
