Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Updates to International Student Programs
On January 22, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued an update about study visas and Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP) for international students.
The update included:
- two-year limitation on international student permits
- modifications to the Post-Graduate Work Permit program
- a new requirement for Provincial Attestation Letters (PAL) for all incoming study permit applications
