English Language Requirements (ELR) Updates
RRC Polytech has recently added new countries to the ELR exempt list. This means more students can apply without needing to submit IELTS or other English language tests.
What’s new?
- New additions to the full ELR exemption list: Students from Botswana, Fiji, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Swaziland (Eswatini), Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe are now fully exempt from submitting English language test results.
- New conditional exemption list: Students from Gambia, Liberia, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sierra Leone, and Solomon Islands may also qualify for exemption. To do so, they must provide proof of English-medium education, such as transcripts or a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter issued on official school letterhead.
Next steps:
- Admissions will accept MOI letters and official records to confirm conditional exemptions.
