English Language Requirement Update for English for Academic and Professional Purposes

Effective immediately, all applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency when applying to the English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP). 

The EAPP now begins at Level 3. As a result, applicants must meet at least the Level 3 minimum English language proficiency requirements listed below: 

• TOEFL iBT: 30  

• IELTS Academic: 3.5  

• Versant English Placement Test: 30  

• Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB): 4  

• Duolingo English Test: 55  

Please ensure that all future applications include acceptable proof of English language proficiency or documentation supporting an approved ELR waiver to avoid delays in processing.
