Anti-Racism & You: Identifying Our Privilege

Anti-Racism Workshop #6: Identifying Our Privilege

True anti-racism work requires a good amount of self-reflection, especially when understanding how privilege and oppression shape our society and our personal experiences. This interactive* workshop will uncover how different aspects of our social identities are subject to either privilege or oppression, how some people experience multiple forms of oppression, and how privilege can be used as a tool for allyship in everyday spaces.

Our goal in the RRC Polytech community is to transform our culture and institution where anti-racism guides our leadership, policies, and actions. Open to all RRC Polytech students, faculty, and staff, a series of Anti-Racism educational workshops are set to take place this Winter 2023 term.

This sixth workshop of a seven-workshop series will expose the truth we must acknowledge, honouring our full humanity.

The Centre for International Education and Global Partnerships will provide all on-campus participants with snacks and beverages and a chance to win a door prize! Register today for your chance to win!
