Meet the International Student Ambassadors 2022-2023

Each year a handful of international students are selected to be International Student Ambassadors. Their mission is to promote diversity on campus, provide peer support and share experiences, and assist Red River College Polytechnic programs and services to organize events and activities.

It is our pleasure to introduce the Ambassadors for this academic year:

 

Maria José Eguigure Torres (MJ)

Maria studies Hospitality and Tourism Management at at the Exchange District Campus. She is from Honduras. Maria shares, “I love to travel and learn about new cultures, food etc….I also love sports, movies, music and decorate. My life motto is the Golden Rule “Do to others, what you would like them do to you”, I’m looking forward to work together, help each other, create more positive and enriching extracurricular activities for students that will help them thrive in college and in life. Olushola E. Adesanya (Marvin) 

Marvin studies International Business at the Notre Dame Campus. He is from Nigeria. He likes to spend his time traveling, visiting places, learning new cultures and all extracurricular activities. He loves to share ideas on all RRC Polytech activities by creating or contributing to new projects and enabling a safe environment for all. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mohitpreet Kaur

Mohitpreet studies Business Information Technology at the Exchange District Campus. Mohitpreet shares, “I am always keen to learn about new cultures and meet new people I love reading books. I would like to create inclusive environment where everyone would feel welcomed.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Genelyn Navarro

Genelyn is from the Philippines, studying Business Administration – Human Resource Management at the Exchange District Campus. Genelyn says, “I believe that we travel on different paths, but one thing is for sure when we do something for good, we are in the right direction. I have a grateful heart with a purpose and will be glad to serve and make our students feel that they belong.”
