Changes to International Tuition Deposit and Payment Schedule
Currently, international students at RRC Polytech pay the tuition fees in two schedules:
- $1,500 international tuition deposit to reserve their seat within 14 days of the issuance of the offer letter, and
- A minimum $7,500 tuition payment two months before the start date of the program.
To streamline the application process, starting July 1, 2022 – RRC Polytech will require only one payment of a $3,000 international tuition deposit within 14 days of the issuance of the Offer Letter, and the remaining balance can be paid any time before the start date of the program. Qualifying students applying under the Student Direct Stream (SDS) category may still pay their 1-year tuition fees, and RRC Polytech will issue the supporting Fee Payment Receipt.
Once a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) is issued, any request to change the Study Plan will result in the forfeiture of the $3,000 international tuition deposit. This includes changing the term start date for a program.
Acceptable Payment Methods:
- PayMyTuition – International students can pay tuition payments from any bank, country, or currency at better than bank exchange rates. PayMyTution is RRC Polytech’s preferred payment method as it is fast, simple and cost-effective. Learn more here: https://www.paymytuition.com/paynow/rrc
- Online Payment – Pay by credit card through the Self-Service account with Visa or MasterCard. A non-refundable 1.8% user fee will be added when paying with a credit card.
- Interac E-Transfer – Transfer funds via email to register@rrc.ca. Please enter the full name of the student or applicant, student number, date of birth (mm/dd/yy) and payment type (e.g., application fee payment or tuition payment) in the email message field before sending.
