Save the Date! Employment Readiness Conference May 25 & 26, 2022

Red River College Polytechnic’s Student Employment Services (SES) in collaboration with Centre for International Education and Global Partnerships (CIEGP), Academic Success Centre (ASC), and the School of Indigenous Education (SIE) is hosting the 3rd virtual Employment Readiness Conference (ERC) on May 25 & 26, 2022.

The theme of this year’s event is “Back to YOUR Future” – a focus back to graduates’ future after the challenges of the past few years. Partnering with us as this year’s keynote speaker is Lisa Taylor, a sought-after expert, speaker, and columnist on today’s changing world of work. As President of Challenge Factory and the Centre for Career Innovation, Lisa offers invaluable leadership and insights about the Future of Work—with a focus on how talent equity, demographics, the freelance economy, and new market dynamics present opportunities to gain strategic workforce and career advantage.

The second day will feature a keynote from Graham Donald, Founder and President of the Brainstorm Strategy Group. Brainstorm Strategy Group provides strategic advice, insightful research, and professional development for employers and educational institutions to help them attract and engage the next generation.

In addition, the Employment Readiness Conference includes sessions by RRC staff and industry speakers on cultural themes, networking and communication, labour market trends, recruitment strategies, as well as an employer and alumni panel to share workplace expectations, challenges, and best practices.

Stay tuned for more information! We look forward to seeing you there!
