Important IRCC Updates

Over the past week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced a temporary policy change to facilitate the processing of study permit applications for international students. IRCC is allowing international applicants to study online from their home country once they have submitted a study permit application to IRCC Online for the Fall 2020 intake.

This temporary process will also allow applicants to count their time spent studying online abroad towards the length of their Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) as long as 50% of their program is completed in Canada. For additional information, please refer to IRCC Update related to COVID-19 at here.

As the Fall intake fast approaches, there is some important information we need from you. This is highly time-sensitive, and we require your immediate attention by August 1, 2020. Each of your students should have received an email from our office asking them to complete a study decision questionnaire. Please remind them about this Request for Information as all responses will be taken count towards their study plan. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of their application and forfeiture of their tuition deposit.
