Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

February 6, 2012

Did you know….?

On June 16, 2011, Bill 20, The Defibrillation Public Access Act, became law in Manitoba. This requires all public places to have a publicly accessible AED on site.

RRC has 7 AEDs throughout our Campuses. We have two AEDs each at the Notre Dame, Roblin Centre, and Stevenson Aviation Winnipeg and one at Stevenson Aviation Southport.

AED’s are a proven method to improve the chance of survival in a cardiac event. Knowing the warning signs and acting immediately can save a life – even your own.
