Balance out your academic life with having fun and being active!

February 6, 2012

As a student at RRC, you are here to get your education, but alongside the cramming for exams, finishing assignments and maybe sometimes a little bit of pulling your hair out, you need to have a little bit of fun to balance out your hectic academic life…

The Red River College Students Association is responsible for a number of the activities that help you de-stress. They always have activities for students whether it be their Pizza Days, watching a movie in the Cave (one of our renowned student lounges) or shooting a game of pool at Lockers (another one of our student lounges). Check out their website to see what they are up to these days…www.rrcsa.ca.

Another way to destress is to get active! Take fitness classes, join intramural sports, use the gym facilites (that are FREE for students!) or get personal training…

If you are a basketball, volleyball or soccer player, keep an eye out for the Red River College Rebels try outs. If not, check out their game schedule, and come on down to Notre Dame Campus and cheer them on! To learn more about being active at RRC, go to www.rrc.ca/athletics.
