Discovering The Parklands

October 12, 2011

We are well into the fall semester and it’s that time of year when we visit high schools. This past week I was in the Parklands region of Manitoba. I visited Major Pratt School, Gooselake High, Swan Valley Regional Secondary School, Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School and Ste. Rose Collegiate.

I met some really fun students who seemed to have done a lot of research on RRC and had a lot of great questions. I hope I was able to give you some further guidance in helping you pursue your career goals.

I have to say that throughout my years of recruitment I have never really made a point of stopping to see the large statues that most of these towns have on display. I thought to myself this year I was going to change that. I have decided that I am going to try and stop at as many statues possible. See below for some of the pictures I took.

Photo Descriptions:

Row 2: Harvest time in the Swan River Valley; The Largest Swan I have ever seen (Swan River MB); On my way home stopped by to see Alpine Archie (McCreary)
