About RED Forum

RED Forum is taking place on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Red River College Notre Dame Campus. All classes will be cancelled and College Services will be closed to ensure that all employees are able to attend.

RED Forum focuses on Relationships, Education, and Direction and is geared towards greater engagement and more opportunities to network and to learn about on-going and new developments at our College.

RED Forum’s theme is focused around the main priorities in RRC’s Strategic Plan and we have 39 professional development sessions for staff to choose from. Everyone will have the opportunity to take part in professional development workshops, re-connect with friends and colleagues, and hopefully make some new connections and learn a little more about our College in the process.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Niigaan Sinclair as our opening keynote speaker this year. Niigaan will present on the topic of Dreams of Red River: Potential in Post-Secondary Spaces, looking at how to build community through education and uncover the role all of us have to play in the future of Manitoba.

Stay for this year’s end of day keynote, Kevin Chief! Kevin will bring his energy, inspiration and unique perspective to present on Building Resiliency and Hope, examining universal values such as talent, generosity and vulnerability, and how successful relationships can help to foster a path of reconciliation and resilient partnerships.

RED Forum is about coming together, engaging you, and providing you with learning and networking opportunities so you are able to invest in yourself.
