Overview

The Safety Champion Award provides an opportunity to recognize and formally acknowledge an employee’s innovation, leadership and professionalism as they contribute to safe work practices. These behaviours, attitudes and actions lead to a safe work environment and contribute to our “culture of safety” – the way in which safety is managed at RRC, which reflects “the attitudes, beliefs, perceptions and values that employees share in relation to safety”.

Nominees may be any employee who demonstrates a safety conscious ethic to fellow workers and/or students.

This award celebrates the behaviours, actions and attitudes demonstrated by employees over the past calendar year (2018).
