Performance Support Conversations Program: Introductory Email Template
We are very excited to announce that we will be introducing and implementing the Performance Support Conversations Program, in the upcoming weeks. This Program is designed to help facilitate meetings between employees and managers to discuss the work and goals of the employee, department, and College. The Program has been developed by the Human Resources Department and is to be used College-wide. The purpose of carrying out performance support conversations is to build a relationship of trust and respect between managers and employees. It is an opportunity for both us to reflect on the work being done and ways to improve overall working relationships.
Option #1: Hold departmental meeting (do not attach agenda – Appendix II; give at meeting)
In the next few days, I will be sending out a calendar invite to a departmental-wide meeting where we will discuss the Performance Support Conversations Program further. I appreciate your attendance at the meeting.
Option #2: Do not hold departmental meeting (do attach agenda – Appendix II)
I have attached an Agenda that outlines some key points of the program. All the tools listed on the agenda will be available to employees and managers on Staff Forum.
