EDI Corporate Action Plan

Red River College is committed to promoting equity and diversity, while fostering a culture of inclusion where all our employees and students feel valued, respected, and included.

We’re proud of the work we’re doing in support of this goal and being recognized as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers seven years running is a significant achievement. However, we recognize there’s still more work to be done.

We’ve developed this plan to further support the expansion and embedding of EDI practices into our corporate culture and to catalyze change. In the coming years, we’ll work towards accomplishing the objectives outlined in this plan, and will revise and add to it as we identify new action items. In February 2021, the College will be rolling out departmental EDI action planning that will support individual areas and schools in developing their own EDI plans.

Further initiatives to support student success will be added to this plan as our work evolves. Below are actions we will take as a College that align with the diversity pillars of our EDI Strategy. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to diversity@rrc.ca.
