Admin Professionals Program
The Admin Professionals Program (APP) provides development and training to administrative assistants at Red River College across a wide range of current and future needs.
Driven by the College’s strategic direction and a three-year rolling plan developed by the College’s Administrative Assistant Steering Group, APP sessions are delivered through a blended learning approach, including in-person and online courses.
Some courses are jointly delivered through the ENGAGE program, which provides common needs training to all RRC employees, while other courses are exclusive to Administrative Assistants.
The APP covers a range of learning areas including:
- Common Technical Skills
- Communications and Writing
- Interpersonal Skills and Wellness
- Additional Admin Topics
Supporting these formal learning courses are an annual Professional Development and Networking event, an online Team Site with resources for administrative assistants, and a monthly discussion series.
