“Red River College has a proud history and an incredible future. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside such talented people, whose passion and dedication continue to move this College forward. I’m extremely honoured to join such an important Manitoba institution at a time when it will play an important role in Manitoba’s economy.”

Role of the President
The President provides leadership and direction to RRC on all matters related to the policies, programs and services of the College; the business affairs of the College; and any other matters that may be delegated by the Board of Governors to the President.
As the College’s institutional leader, the President and CEO engages stakeholders to develop and deliver the College’s strategic plan.
The President is supported by the College’s Senior Leadership Team to help move forward the College’s key priorities.
Priorities
Strong internal communication and collaboration are the bedrock of our success as a College, and Fred has made employee engagement and the creation of the College’s new five-year Strategic Plan key priorities for the College.
In order to shape and grow our College, and meet the needs of our students and the industries that rely on their expertise, we need to continue to collaborate and innovate together – and that starts with a strong culture of engagement where employees and students are supported in their pursuits.
