Overview
The BRAVO Teaching Excellence Award is designed to recognize an instructor who exhibits exemplary instructional qualities over a sustained period. Nominees will have made an outstanding contribution to the educational environment of their school or program area, always striving to improve the quality of learning for students.

Name: Teaching Excellence Award
Nominations Open: March 8, 2021
Nominations Close: March 26, 2021
Award Frequency: Once annually
Number of Awards: Up to two.
Eligibility:
- Nominees must be a current instructor in a full-time, part-time, online/distance or contract training program.
- Nominees must have a minimum of three years of experience teaching within the College.
- Nominees must have completed the CAE certificate program.
Who Can Nominate: All employees may submit nominations for their RRC peers. Nominators may be full or part-time staff, and they may be in any employee group (administrative support, service support, professional/technical, faculty/instructors, management, contract/adjunct).
Award Value: The recipient selected by the RRC Selection Committee will receive: Formal recognition and presentation of a beautiful etched glass award at this year’s RED Forum and acknowledgement in Staff News and other media throughout the College community.
