Women’s soccer and the RRC Nursing program are represented in this Alumni feature on Nadine Reimer.
Played: soccer and futsal from 2014-2017.
Program: graduated from the Baccalaureate of Nursing Program with Honours in August 2017.
Currently working: Since that time I got a job and worked at the Health Sciences Center on GA3 (the same place I completed my final practicum as a student).
Nadine had this to say ” I loved being a part of the Rebels Athletic Program, so much so that I worked at the gym while I was still a student and spent the last year as Assistant coach of our women’s soccer and futsal teams… I just can’t get away! Anyone who knows me or talks to me for 5 minutes knows of my love and appreciation for being able to play varsity sports at RRC. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that playing for RRC enhanced my college experience TENFOLD. Plus, soccer was the perfect break in my studying to keep me going through a busy program. I was able to build lifelong friendships with other fellow Rebels and endless memories from practices, games, and trips with the team. I would encourage everyone to find a team and tryout, it is DEFINITELY worth it!”
Rebels note: Nadine was apart of the Women’s soccer team that did the double. They won a soccer and futsal championships in the same season
