It’s not often throughout the past few seasons the women’s basketball team has gotten off to a hot start. This year, they decided to change the narrative they’re slow starters by jumping all the way to first in the MCAC at the Christmas break.

Rebels Weekend Wrap Nov 8th &9th

Both of the Basketball teams opened the season being defeated as they hosted PUC Pilots on Friday evening and on Saturday they travelled to Otterbourne, MB to take on the PUC Pilots as a part of their double header. Both of the Volleyball lost their season openers vs USB Le Rouge as they visited CMU to take on the Blazers Friday evening and were back home on Saturday to take on the Blazers!

Playoff weekend for the Women’s Soccer team! on Saturday Oct 26th the Rebels took on PUC Pilots in Semi-finals at the Otterbourne Complex. Men’s Basketball team hosted Norte Dame Hound Prep on Saturday and on Sunday afternoon the Rebels took on Jr. Bison’s Elite at University of Saint-Boniface as a part of their pre-season. Read More →

Men’s Soccer team entered the weekend being 2-0-6 and the Women’s team entered the weekend being 6-1-1 as they took on PUC Pilots on Saturday afternoon and BU Bobcats on Sunday at the John Scouras Field. Women’s Volleyball travelled to Iowa as part of their pre season games. Men’s Volleyball hosted Jamestown Jimmies at St Paul’s highschool as they get ready for the regular season starting on November 2nd. The basketball teams hosted CMU Blazers on Friday night as a part of their pre season here at the College.

The Red River Rebels announced the 2019 – 2020 Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference basketball schedule today.
The Rebels open the season at home on November 1 and 2 against Association Free Luthern Bible College. They then follow that up with a home and away series with the PUC Pilots. Read More →
Rebels Athletics recently held their annual end of the season banquet dinner, where they celebrated the 2018-19 Varsity Athletics season, and gave out MVP awards to each team along with two special recognition awards.
