Lots of action this past weekend with every team playing! Women’s Basketball taking on the Turtle Mountain Community College on Friday night, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball teams taking on ACC Cougars on Friday night, Men’s Basketball taking on TMCC on Saturday evening and finally the Women’s and Men’s Futsal teams had a double header against Bu Bobcats and ACC Cougars!

Women’s Basketball team went on to lose to TMCC by a point. They fought hard until the end and didn’t get the outcome they wished for. 4th year Forward from Stonewall lead the way with 24 points, 18 rebounds and 3 steals.


Men’s Basketball went on to win vs TMCC by 12 point and stay undefeated on the season with the record of 13-0! As of right now they stand in first place in both of the leagues MCAC & NIAC. 1st year Forward from Maples Collegiate Francesco Tocci. Lead the way with 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Francesco Tocci had been Dominant all season long.


Men’s Volleyball took on ACC on Friday night and kept it close all game long, losing 3 sets to 1 to them. They showed a lot of heart and never backed down despite the outcome of the game. 1st year Middle from Manila George Trinidad was amazing all game long and was unstoppable at the net! As the 1st year Head Coach Chris Voth would describe him as an “absolute beast”


Women’s Volleyball also took on ACC on Friday night and went on to give them a challenge despite losing 3 sets to 1. 2nd year Outside from ST. Mary’s Academy Darby Coughlin was outstanding throughout the game.


Men’s Futsal team lost to Bu Bobcats with the score of 4-3. 1st year Forward from Colegio Argumento Objectivo high school Yuri Martes had 2 goals and the 2nd year Goal Keeper from Belam, Brazil was sensational the whole game. Men’s Futsal team followed the loss with a win over ACC Cougars beating them with the score of 13-4. Rebels adjusted well to the smaller court and it showed in the result. Outstanding plays from 1st year Forward Thomas Patton and 2nd year Forward Eduardo Francisco!


Women’s Futsal team had a successful weekend with a tie and a win. Tied against Brandon with the score of 5-5 and beat ACC Cougars 11-1. Goals came from 2nd year Wing from Glen lawn High School Miranda Isaacs with one, 2nd year Wing from Fort Richmond Collegiate Shea Bresciani with 4, 2nd year Wing from River East Collegiate Kezia Balzer with 4 and finally 2nd year Pivot from Cooks Creek Jessica Gzebb with 7 goals! 4 points earned this past weekend were really crucial for the team.

  • Basketball, Saturday Feb 15th MCAC Finals (M) @3 Depending on how the Women’s do in Semis if they win they’ll play on Saturday @ 1 pm.
  • Futsal, Thursday Feb 20th (M) @ 6:15 pm and (W) @ 8 pm
  • Volleyball, Friday Feb 21st (M) @ 6 pm and (W) @ 7:30 pm
