Kaelyn Vincent joins Women’s Soccer

Red River College IMG_3585Women’s Soccer is pleased to announce the commitment of Kaelyn Vincent For the 2015 MCAC season. Kaelyn played her youth soccer with Winnipeg Phoenix FC, and was selected as MVP of her U17 club. Kaelyn attended Springs Christian Academy, graduating in 2009, where she played on the high school team for four years. As a youth, Kaelyn also trained in the CSSE Academy. Following high school Kaelyn attended the University of Manitoba in Arts and played for the Bison’s CIS team in 2012.Kaelyn has been playing 1st Division senior soccer since youth and currently plays with Victorious Secret. Kaelyn plays Striker and is her team’s leading scorer.

“I am very pleased to have Kaelyn’s commitment to our program. Kaelyn plays the game with passion and will be a handful for opposing defences,” says Head Coach Doug Lawrie, “she provides the offensive threat needed for any team to challenge for a championship.”

Kaelyn will be entering the Health Care Aide program, and is currently on the wait list for the Nursing program.
