Red River College Women’s Soccer is pleased to announce the commitment of Paige Procter for the 2015 MCAC season. Paige played youth soccer in WYSA with Stonewall CC. In high school Paige played four years with Stonewall CI where she was team captain in her senior year. She helped her high school team win one MHSAA Provincial Championship and qualify for the finals another year. As a youth Paige trained in CSSE Academy for five years, and was selected to attend the Omaha FC College Showcase tournament. After youth Paige played senior women’s soccer on a part-time basis with CSSE Impact in Division One of the Winnipeg Women’s Soccer League. She also played one season of senior soccer in Switzerland while working in that country.
Paige plays midfield. “Paige comes from a strong program at both Stonewall CI and CSSE Academy,” says Head Coach Doug Lawrie, “what most impressed me was the confidence and positivity she showed in my personal meeting with her. She will fit in well with our tight knit group.”
Paige graduated from high school in 2012 where she was an honour roll student and won a General Proficiency award in Grade 12. Paige will be entering her second year in the Bachelor of Nursing degree program at Red River College.
