If your English proficiency level is:

  • CLB 7

If your goals are:

  • to build on your previous training, experience or interest in health care
  • to find employment or continue your studies in the field of health professions
  • to re-enter employment in the health care field
  • to increase your socio-cultural communication skills to succeed in the workplace

If you want:

  • to learn the skills and strategies necessary to succeed in a post-secondary institution
  • to learn language specific to health care training and work
  • to obtain cultural information about health professions in Canada
  • to hear guest speakers and meet others who work in health care
  • to receive networking opportunities, volunteer experience and workplace language exposure

If you like learning with:

  • a 16-week program
  • maximum 20 students per class
  • volunteer experience and language exposure in a Canadian health care environment
  • use of state-of-the-art technology and access to online independent learning
  • full support from your instructors
  • regular feedback about your progress
  • information about training or health care organizations in Manitoba
