Colleague system is back up now.

The Colleague system is now back up and running as well as WebAdvisor and SelfServe web sites as well.

Servers back up

All Servers are back up again.  The issue was with the backup jobs that were backing up specific servers hanging on creation of their snapshots.  We are following up with the software vendor to resolve the issue.

Host servers down

Applications Development custom application web servers are not running this morning.  It appears to be related to failed backups.  Server management is working on the issue.  Case Log, RRC Reporting, Online Registration, HUB and other applications are affected.

FlashPlayer update issue

There was an issue with the upgrade on Wed October 15 from
After a shutdown and power on of your machine. FlashPlayer ActiveX should reinstall. This may take up to 1 hour after the power on.
 If the Interactive Services window keeps appearing you need to click on view message.
The message is
“The version of the Player that you are trying to install is lower that what is currently installed. ” Click ok
Then click return now button.
Then Shutdown and power on your machine.

Server issues at Roblin Resolved

No actual outages occurred with production servers.  The issue was resolved prior to it affecting production academic servers.

Slow access to RRC Web Resources from outside the College

We are currently experiencing slow access from outside the College to web based resources.  Resources such as Learn, Hub, Share, the RRC Home page and others will appear slow at the moment.
The ITS Network Management team is currently working to correct the issue.
