Connect to student email using Outlook for Mac

Open Outlook
From the Menu Bar select Outlook Preferences
Click on Accounts

Choose “Exchange” or “Office 365”

Enter your email address, username and password.  Ensure “Configure Automatically” is not selected.
*****IMPORTANT NOTE*****
With Office 365 accounts, you must enter your full email address for both the email address AND User name fields.

At this point you will be redirected to the Red River College login page.  Enter your username and password once more and click “Sign In”

Your credentials are authenticated and your account is added into Outlook.  You can verify this by checking the account status indicator on the Accounts preferences pane.  Red indicates the account is disconnected, yellow indicates communications issues, and green means the account has been added and is working properly.
