Indigenous Supports Request

Indigenous Education is stronger at Red River College with the support of our Elders and Knowledge Keepers and through partnerships with the broader Indigenous community.

Our Elders and Knowledge Keepers are here to support education through Indigenous ways of teaching, learning and leading. They play an important role in student and staff health, wellness, and cultural and spiritual development. They are here to support all students and staff at Red River College.

The Indigenous Student Support department offers cultural teaching sessions, Elder opening greetings/prayers, cultural awareness training, historical presentations, workshops, land-based activities such as at the medicine wheel garden, teepee or sweat lodge, etc. Let us know how we can support you by booking with us today!

NOTE: There is limited availability for Elders and Knowledge Keepers. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but it will depend on scheduling availability.
