Mentorship * Support * Growth

This is a free 10-week course, with the potential for post-program financial assistance for education or employment.

Create a strong foundation of skills to enter employment and/or education. Self-reflection, action planning, and traditional Indigenous teachings create a holistic experience for personal growth.

Dates: January 9 to March 17, 2023

Program Details

  • 10 weeks blended learning – online and in person – plus living wage
  • 25 Hours per week
  • Opportunity for childcare support
  • career coaching support in employment, education and/or training

Receive

  • Living wage during the program
  • First aid and mental health first aid
  • Manitoba Health Certified Food Handler Training
  • Criminal record check
  • Assistance with accessing class 5 learner’s driver’s license handbook
  • Canadian Adult Achievement Test Level C (CAAT)
  • WHMIS courses
  • Clifton Strengths Test

Eligibility Criteria for Indigenous Participants

  • 18 – 30 years old
  • Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit)
  • Not in education or employment
  • A laptop or computer is required to participate
