Great-West Life Online: New GroupNet™ for Plan Members

Great-West Life’s new GroupNet™ for Plan Members is here with streamlined content and a new user-friendly design! GroupNet™ for Plan Members gives you access to your group benefits information conveniently on your computer or mobile device.

Mobile Friendly – GroupNet™ for Plan Members works on any device!

View your claim status – View the status of your claims, Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and claim history online.

Direct Deposit – Sign up for direct deposit to receive benefit payments faster!

Coverage and balances – View a summary of your benefits coverage, and select a benefit to view your balance easier, anywhere, anytime!

How do I register for GroupNet?

If you have not set up the new GroupNet™, registration can be completed in three easy steps:

  1. Sign in to the current GroupNet™ site (
  2. Select ‘GroupNet for Plan Members’
  3. Click ‘Register Now’
    • Sign up with your email address and create a new password
    • You will require your Great-West Life ID card to register

What are Provider eClaims?

With Provider e-claims, approved providers, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, opticians and more can submit claims on your behalf at point-of-sale. You can find out if your provider is registered by checking the provider listing on GroupNet™ for Plan Members.

How do I know which medications I am covered for?

Through GroupNet™ for Plan Members you can easily find which drugs you and your dependent(s) are covered for. Search through a list of medications to review instructions, interactions, side effects and even set reminders to take your medication on time or order refills.

Can I submit claims online?

You can submit many of your claims online for faster processing! Online claims submission is available for a variety of covered health care services, including prescription drugs, dentalcare, visioncare and paramedical services.

When do I need to submit claims by paper?

Great-West Life may require an invoice or receipt for certain claims, including medical services and supplies. You will be notified when submitting a claim online if a paper claim is required. If you are unsure, contact Great-West Life at 1-800-957-9777 to determine whether your claim can be submitted online. Paper claim forms are available on the GroupNet™ for Plan Members website or by visiting and clicking on Forms.
