Curriculum Day

June 16, 2016

The day started with great sadness to hear Louise Gordon, our Dean of Health Sciences, will be retiring.  Even though we wish her well in her new beginnings, we will miss her deeply.  We thank her for her voice and support in helping to get us to where we are as a department today.  It Karen #8was great that she was able to witness the SIM lab beginnings, which was very dear to her heart….

The rest of the day was spent connecting Clinical, Theory, and Skills together to see the strengths and room for improvement, as we strive to make our program the best.  We learned about initiatives other instructors are doing in their classes such as the unfolding case study testing/exercises, SIM, and flipping a classroom.  Great Work!
