Tourism Management is a specialization program. Students interested in this program must apply to and complete the first common year of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program.

Through the Tourism Management program, you’ll develop the specialized management, business and service skills you need to excel in the tourism industry.

In this program, you’ll build advanced tour, attraction and event planning skills through practical learning experiences, co-op work opportunities and collaborative projects. You’ll also develop the critical communication and collaboration skills you need to adapt to new environments and business models.

Full-time Delivery: Something New Every Term

After completing Hospitality and Tourism Management’s first common year (Terms 1 to 3), you can specialize in Tourism Management. In this program, you will develop the professional skills needed to work in event planning, tour operations, attractions, special events and tourism services worldwide.

TERM 4

Start your second-year specialization program and build fundamental skills in tourism marketing and sales, event planning and tour development.

TERM 5

Build advanced, employer-sought skills in event management, tour guiding, community development, risk management and entrepreneurship.

TERM 6

Complete a final co-op placement focused on Tourism Management to build crucial work experience and industry connections.
