RRC unveils plans for Winter 2021 term

December 16, 2020

We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back following the holiday break on January 4.

Since no two Red River College programs are exactly alike, we will continue to deliver learning experiences to students that reflect the uniqueness of their programs to minimize disruptions caused by the pandemic.

For most programs, online classes will begin January 4. Instructor-led online courses in a small number of programs will begin January 11 following a week of alternate learning for students, including project-based assignments and academic success sessions.

If you’re a student whose online courses starts on January 11, you can still expect to complete your program and graduate on schedule. The project-based work, pre-reading and online sessions you attend this week will help set you up for success in the term ahead.

All hands-on and work-integrated learning and apprenticeship training will take place as scheduled beginning January 4. Reading Week will still take place February 15 to 19. Winter Term will end as scheduled, and any program delivery that spans the Fall/Winter term will continue as scheduled.

In the coming weeks, programs will reach out to you with updated academic schedules for your courses. For a complete listing of Winter 2021 programs and delivery methods, click here.

Thank you to you and your families for your resilience and support as our College community continues to rise to the challenges of COVID-19. We can’t wait to be part of your journey as you take those next steps toward an exciting and meaningful future. On behalf of Red River College, I wish you a safe, healthy andC restful holiday break.
