With staff, faculty, and students working from home, Red River College has implemented an IT Service Desk. The IT Service Desk team functions as the College’s first point of contact for technical issues and requests. The Service desk will resolve many issues over the phone and relay any issues that need further investigation or support to other IT service areas for resolution.
Please see the ITS Service Desk webpage to find all the help resources you will need in one location. Once you log on using your College user name and password, you can receive up-to-date information and alerts; browse self-help links; search the College’s knowledge base for answers to your specific questions; or request support using Case Log, telephone, and email links.
There are three ways for you to request support from the ITS Service Desk:
- Create a Case Log
You can still create a Case Log yourself. The ITS Service Desk staff will receive your Case Log submission and contact you within 24 hours to begin resolving your issue.
- Call the ITS Service Desk
You can call the ITS Service Desk on campus @ 2125 or off-campus @ 204-632-2125. An ITS Service Desk team member will record the details of your issue and create a Case Log to resolve the issue with you. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a voicemail with your name, the details of your issue, and a phone number that we can use to contact you.
- Email the ITS Service Desk
You can email the ITS Service Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org. An ITS Service Desk team member will contact you via email or phone within 24 hours and work to resolve the issue with you. When submitting an email, please provide as much detail as you can about your issue and provide a phone number that we can use to contact you.
The ITS Service Desk is available to help you Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30.
