More supports needed for RRC students impacted by COVID-19
Red River College is appealing to its donor community, alumni and partners to help provide additional funding for students who have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
The RRC COVID-19 Emergency Student Support Fund, launched April 9 and nearing $140,000 in donations, has received an overwhelming number of applicants and can’t meet the needs of all those who have applied.
StatsCan launches survey for post-secondary students
Statistics Canada is calling on all post-secondary students to make their voices heard by participating in a brief online survey. Questions will focus on how the COVID-19 outbreak has impacted your studies, your finances, and other aspects of your life. Your answers will help governments and other organization plan services and assistance programs to support students during and after the pandemic.
RRC students and staff are practicing #COVIDkindness and paying attention to the kind acts of others. As we do this, our resilience grows. The stories below inspire us all to keep kindness and gratitude a priority throughout these challenging times.
