Daily Roundup

March 26, 2020

Welcome to the first of our Daily Roundups. We’ll be publishing these updates weekday afternoons to highlight news and stories about how our students, instructors, staff and community are rising to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 outbreak.

COVID-19 Update

The Government of Canada yesterday issued an Emergency Order requiring all travellers returning from abroad to self-isolate, whether or not they have symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus. The order took effect at midnight last night.

The Province of Manitoba strongly advises all Manitobans to cancel or postpone any non-essential travel, including travel within Canada, and recommends that anyone who returns from any travel, including domestic travel, should self-isolate and self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus for 14 days following their return.
