The Interactive Visits program is an initiative from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Through this program, clients of the National Research Council of Canada – Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC – IRAP) are eligible for up to 20 hours of access to the equipment, facilities and expertise of the Building Efficiency Technology Access Centre (BETAC).
As part of the College and Community Innovation Program, NSERC also offers the Engage Grant initiative. Engage Grants provide innovative companies that operate from a Canadian base with access to Red River College resources. The purpose of the grant is to stimulate partnership developments by supporting short-term research and development projects to address a company-specific problem. BETAC) can capitalize on this grant and facilitate your company’s application.
Applied Research Development (ARD) Grant
Also an NSERC initiative, the ARD Grant is a longer-term funding opportunity for well-defined research and development projects established between Red River College and private-sector organizations. The project’s length should range from one to three years, throughout which the partner would benefit from accessing BETAC’s network of equipment, facilities and expertise.
Other Funding Opportunities
As the largest institute of applied research of Manitoba and one of the top research colleges in Canada, Red River College has access to many government funding streams. To understand how your organization or project can benefit from these opportunities, get in touch with the BETAC team.
