Community Events in the Space
Canada Learning Code
For the ACE Project Space, community engagement can mean providing space for organizations like Canada Learning Code to run events.
Canada Learning Code is From girls to newcomers to Indigenous youth to young Canadians with disabilities, we want to give all Canadian youth the chance to build, and not just consume, technology.
Ramp Up Weekend
North Forge, an innovation-based economic development agency, and the ACE Project Space hold the annual Ramp Up Weekend. The event is a 55-hour idea-to-startup competition offering entrepreneurs with winning ideas the opportunity to have their business idea turned into reality along with a residency at our space.
We host a variety of events in the ACE Project Space outside of dedicated class time. Our space has become home for our partners from North Forge for their monthly meetings, for the organizers of Techapalooza to plan their events, for our academic department to host panels and workshops and others.
