Through the Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic program, you’ll develop the professional knowledge and practical skills you need to maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment across various industries, from construction and agriculture to highway transportation.

You’ll learn to maintain, repair and replace engines, standard transmissions, basic electrical components, air brakes and hydraulic systems and service equipment in our modern workshop facilities using industry-standard tools and techniques. Before graduating, you’ll gain real work experience and industry connections through a field experience opportunity at a heavy equipment repair shop.
